OBJECTIVE I wanted to recreate Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix packaging, using only type as image. This was an interesting challenge as Jiffy is an ICON. I wanted to keep the spirit of the boxes but with a new twist.

CONCEPT The concept for these packages is based around the original idea and mission of jiffy; good ingredients, yummy food, fast, and affordable. Inspired during the Great Depression, Jiffy helped a lot of people out. They are a staple even today. So taking that, I chose to base my concept on a place of saviours, Jiffy can be the saviour of the cookout, the bake sale, and that traditional Thanksgiving stuffing.

VISUALS Going along with my concept of a saviour, the visuals are inspired by tryptics, historical religious icon art, while all using only type.
